Speaker: Sam Ruckwardt
Sam Ruckwardt is an attorney with Smith Freed & Eberhard PC. Sam’s practice focuses on the defense of personal injury claims. She is a trial lawyer who, in the last two years alone, has defended clients in eight trials, including five trials to jury verdict. She has handled in excess of fifty arbitrations, settlement conferences and mediations. In addition to her rich litigation experience, Sam has counseled clients on patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret protection. She has participated in all phases of patent, trademark and copyright application prosecution, including preparing right-to-manufacture opinions, patentability searches, applications, responses and appeals.
